What burned in subtitles does

Burned in subtitles, sometimes called hardcoded or open captions, are drawn into the video frames themselves. They cannot be switched off, and they cannot go missing when a file is reposted or re-encoded.

Every AutoReels video uses them. The text comes from the narration it recorded, so there is no separate file to attach, upload or keep in sync.

How it works

  1. Create a video from a topic or a custom written prompt
  2. Choose the narration language and the voice that reads it
  3. Generate the video with subtitles already drawn into the frames
  4. Download or publish it, and the text goes wherever it goes

Questions

Can viewers turn the subtitles off?

No. Burned in subtitles are part of the picture, which is the point of them.

Can I get a soft subtitle track or SRT instead?

No. AutoReels does not export subtitle files. Subtitles are always burned into the video.

Which languages can be burned in?

All 32 that AutoReels supports, since the subtitles come from the narration in whichever language you chose.
