Funny Video Generator
Comedy that comes from the premise and the picture, not just the punchline.
What funny video generator does
Not every funny video is a joke with a punchline. Most of what works in short form is a straight-faced narration describing something ridiculous, where the comedy comes from the gap between the tone and the subject.
That gap is something you control directly here. Write the absurd premise, then pick a style that takes it completely seriously: Photo Realism and Black & White Noir are funnier on a stupid subject than any cartoon style is.
How it works
- Describe the absurd premise in a custom prompt, written plainly
- Pick a serious style, because the mismatch is where the comedy is
- Choose a voice that reads earnestly rather than one trying to be funny
- Keep it to 15 to 30 seconds and let the subtitles deliver the last line
Who it is for
- Meme accounts that work from premises rather than written jokes
- Brands wanting humour without hiring a comedian
- Creators testing which absurd idea gets shared
- Anyone whose funniest material is visual
What you get on every plan
Destinations are TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, or delivery by email if you would rather post by hand.
Questions
How is this different from the joke video generator?
That one is built around setup and punchline timing, using the Long Form Jokes topic. This one is for comedy that comes from an absurd premise played straight, where the style does the work.
Can I write the funny part myself?
Yes, and you usually should. Put the premise in a custom prompt and edit the script before it is recorded.
Why not use a cartoon style?
You can. But a cartoon signals the joke before the narration arrives, and a realistic style keeps the audience waiting for the point. Try both.
