The problem it solves

Some subjects do not fit in two minutes. A full explainer, a documented process or a story with more than one turn needs three, five or ten, and cutting it to fit does the subject a disservice.

What we are building

Longer generation means holding a script together across many more scenes without it drifting, and keeping a voice consistent for minutes rather than seconds. Both are the work, and neither is finished.

No release date is promised. If you want it, saying so is the fastest way to move it up the list: accounts created from this page are counted as interest in it.

What you can do today

The longest band in AutoReels is 90 to 120 seconds. A longer subject can be run as a series of episodes, which also suits how short form is watched.

Questions

How long can an AI generated video be here today?

Up to 120 seconds. The bands are 15 to 30, 30 to 60, 60 to 90 and 90 to 120 seconds.

Why is longer harder?

Scripts drift over length, scene counts multiply, and a voice that sounds natural for 30 seconds can sound mechanical over five minutes. Those are the problems being worked on.

What should I do in the meantime?

Split the subject into episodes in one series. The look and voice stay identical across them, so it reads as one body of work.
