The problem it solves

The format pairs a story with gameplay running underneath it, so there is always something moving while the narration does the work. It needs real gameplay footage looping behind the words.

What we are building

Gameplay backgrounds will join the stock video library as a background option, selectable per series the way stock footage already is, with the narration and subtitles layered over the top.

No release date is promised. If you want it, saying so is the fastest way to move it up the list: accounts created from this page are counted as interest in it.

What you can do today

There is a Minecraft image style, used by the Minecraft Video Generator, which produces frames in that blocky look. It is a visual style rather than running footage, and the difference is obvious on screen. Stock video backgrounds are available as an alternative for other subjects.

Questions

Can I make one of these today?

Not properly. The Minecraft style generates still frames in that aesthetic; it does not play parkour footage underneath your narration.

Can I supply my own gameplay recording?

Not yet. There is no upload. Supplying your own background is part of what this needs.

What works today for a similar effect?

Set the art type to video and a stock clip loops behind the narration. The library does not include game footage, but the format is the same.
