The problem it solves

The same video has to be vertical for Reels, square for a feed and widescreen for YouTube, and a naive crop cuts the subject in half.

What we are building

Resizing will reframe around the subject rather than the centre, so the important part of the shot survives the crop.

No release date is promised. If you want it, saying so is the fastest way to move it up the list: accounts created from this page are counted as interest in it.

What you can do today

You already choose 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1 when you create a series, and every video in it renders in that shape from the start.

Questions

Can I resize an existing video?

Not yet. You can generate in any of the three aspect ratios today, which solves it for new videos.

Can one series publish in two shapes?

A series has one aspect ratio. Run a second series if you need another shape.

Is 4:5 supported?

No. The three supported shapes are 9:16, 16:9 and 1:1.
